The day her mother passed away, Beulah was only given a name. That was it. No other explanation.
Portia Van Allan was not someone Beulah could believe her mother ever knew. Wealthy, self-absorbed and other than the fact Portia was supplying special care for Beulah’s sister, Portia was cruel.

The day Portia’s son returns home for the summer, Beulah discovers that Portia isn’t in charge. This isn’t her home at all. Her late husband left her with nothing. It all belongs to their son who doesn’t seem to like his mother at all.

Jasper Van Allan doesn’t know why his mother has hired a young gorgeous blonde to take care of the house and almost lets her go before he finds out the truth.

Realizing there’s more to Beulah than a stunning face, he keeps finding reasons to be near her all the time. It’s all falling into place, it all begins to make sense . . . until the real lies, the dark secrets, and the skeletons come tumbling out of the Van Allan closet. Twisted truths that will send Beulah running . . .

"Abbi Glines is the queen of steamy modern day fairytales with a twist. Sweet Little Thing will keep you guessing and needing more from the very first word all the way to the very last."
— Danielle Lagasse

“Sweet little things is a perfect blend of Romance and Drama. A book that throws curveballs unexpectedly, this book will have you addicted. You'll be begging Abbi Glines for your next fix.”

  • Worst book

    By Flee fly123
The house keeper and young boss fall In love only to find out they are first cousins. That's gross. Worst book I've read.
  • Only the beginning

Just finished the second book. Stick with it, the first is meh and the second makes it worth it!!
  • Way too many grammatical errors

    By Paula.Guerra85
I was going to give it 1 star because of the unbelievable amount of errors I came across. I decided to give it 3 because it was an easy read and couldn’t put it down. I knew how it was going to end right away though!
  • Left me wanting more

I really enjoyed this book. It was written like her others, but at the same time - different. This really should not have been 3 books. It would have been sufficient with being 1 book or at the most 2, and not to be waiting weeks apart for each short novel to be released. I get the whole keeping people excited and making a series when the books are longer, but this is way too short to be 3 books. Even on my iPhone it was only 300 phone pages. None the less, I still loved the book (apart from being so short and made into 3 books instead of 1.)
  • Disappointing

Not all books have to have a happy ending but I agree with a previous review that it just seemed lazy. I enjoyed the storyline but the ridiculous ending ruined the book for me. It had potential to be so much better!
  • Great read as usual from Abbi Glines

    By Ameliagahor
LOVED this book. I started it at night and couldn't put it down. Ended up staying up until 1 in the morning because it was so good. Finished it the next day. I love Abbi Glines and majority of her books/series and this book was no exception. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there were a TON of grammatical errors as well as punctuation errors. Some words were spelled wrong or in the wrong order or missing completely. Loved the book but obviously whoever was paid to edit it failed at their job completely which was disappointing.

  • Great book

This is such a great story. I loved the character and the love you could feel between them. I can't wait for the next book!
  • Terribly Disappointed

    By Anony59
I'll be brief. This did not seem like an Abbie Glines book at all. It felt like a bad fan fiction of the Blaire and Rush story. And the "twist" at the end made no sense. Not if the guy was older. The characters were shallow and unlike able. What a waste of time.
